Job Title: Farm Stand Manager

​

Job Description: The Farm Stand Manager for the Farm at Dover Vineyards is responsible for sales and CSA veggie box distribution at the Farm Stand. We are open 11-6pm Tuesdays- Fridays. In conjunction with the Farm Manager, the Farm Stand Manager will decide what to include in the weekly CSAs and purchase produce and inventory from other vendors. The Farm Stand Manager will be responsible for keeping the farm stand tidy, clean, organized, and appealing to customers. The Farm Stand Manager will also help out with picking and packing produce from our farm. Additional duties include: packing the trucks for markets, sending emails to customers, record keeping, processing fruit for jam production, farm tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Love and knowledge of produce and local food

  • Ability to keep a tidy and well-organized display

  • Retail experience and friendly disposition

  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds/loading and unloading trucks for market

  • Ability to operate a smartphone

  • Current drivers license

  • Love of manual labor and being outdoors!

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Punctual and reliable

Job Title: Equipment Manager and Farm Hand

 

Job Description: The Equipment manager and Farm Hand at the Farm at Dover Vineyards is primarily responsible for regularly operating the tractor adhering to all safety standards and precautions, mowing, weedeating, and regularly administering equipment maintenance. In addition, this role may be asked to assist in general farm work (such as harvesting and weeding) as well as operating in a sales capacity.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of tractor driving and zero-turn mowing experience

  • Basic knowledge of vegetables and grapes

  • Interest in learning more about our produce and production

  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds

  • Ability to operate a smartphone

  • Enjoys manual labor and being outdoors!

 

Benefits & Pay:

  • Hourly Rate, based on experience

  • 30-50 hrs/week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00-5:00 PM, with some shifts ending at 3:00 PM)

Job Title: Farmers Market Representatives

 

Job Description: Farmers Market Representatives for the Farm at Dover Vineyards are responsible for sales and CSA veggie box distribution at Farmers Markets and Pop-up events. We attend various markets throughout the season and are specifically hiring for markets on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, although opportunities for extra hours are available. Individuals must be available to consistently work at either or both the Thursday evening or Saturday morning markets from April-late November. Markets occur outdoors and in all weather conditions. Market Representatives take company vehicles to the markets, unpack and sell the product, count and repack the unsold product, return the product to the farm stand, and unload and organize the inventory after the market.

  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds/loading and unloading trucks for market
